Things You Should Know About Types Of Climbing

Types of Climbing
 
Climbing is divided into 5 different
1) Bouldering: climbing without using special equipment with a maximum height of 5 meters. Climbing is done as a warm-up for climbing on the higher terrain.
2) Aid Climbing / Climbing Artifical (Direct Aid Climbing)
Cliff climbing is done by using the tool as complete
3) Bigwall Climbing (Indireck Aid Climbing)
Climbing by using the tool or not with a maximum height of 5 meters.
4) Free Climbing
Climbing by using safety devices potluck.
5) Free soloing climbing is usually done by the masters of climbing as it requires further knowledge of climbing and climbing is done without any security at all on the high cliffs

Physical Exercise
A climber usually warm up first before doing the climbing. Physical exercise is usually carried out include:

  • Push-ups (min 100x at a time), its usefulness is to train the fingers to be more robust in holding point.
  • Full up (min 15x at a time), its usefulness is to train the hand muscles.
  • Sit up (min 75x at a time), its usefulness is to train the abdominal muscles.
  • Run their role to train the legs to avoid cramps while doing pemanjatam
  • Jumping jacks
